Annual Meeting January 22

St. Peter’s Parish held its 2012 Annual Meeting in Edwall Hall, immediately following a 9:30 am single liturgy on Sunday, January 22nd.  A potluck lunch made the transition from Eucharist to Annual Meeting pleasant.  Bobbie Cusato, Nancy Green, Mary Sanchez, and Carolyn Scott were elected to the vestry.  It was announced that the outgoing vestry had appointed Gregg MacEllven to serve the remaining year of the vestry term vacated by Cherie Thames Stapp, and that Jim Howard will serve as senior warden.

Pentecost Evensong Service with Lutheran Church of the Master

Palm Sunday

Worship with us on Palm Sunday, April 17th at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

Return With Jesus To The Last Supper

Join us as we return with Jesus to the Last Supper on Thursday, April 21st ( Maundy Thursday) at 6:30 p.m.  Jesus’ last supper is the beginning of Holy Communion.  Holy Communion will be celebrated at the time of the meal.  Jesus teaches us about leadership as he washes the disciples feet.  We will offer the same leadership class.  We conclude our Maundy Thursday by entering the church as if it were the Garden of Gethsemane where we will remove all our familiar references.  This night we will depart in quiet.

Good Friday, April 22^nd, includes Stations of the Cross at Noon & Good Friday service w/ Holy Communion at 7:30 p.m.  For more information, contact the office.

Celebrate Life With Us On Easter Sunday!

Celebrate life with us on Easter Sunday, April 24th at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.!  Enjoy the joyous and melodious sounds of our choir and brass instrumentalists, and here the uplifting, good news and word of God!  There will be a festive reception and Easter Egg Hunt following the 10:15 Eucharist.  Contact the church office for more information.

Kids’ Afternoon Out Featuring Dr. Sue the Bug Lady!

You won’t want to miss a free, creepy, crawly good time at our first Kid’s Afternoon Out of the year!

Join us on Saturday, March 12th at 1:00 p.m. when we welcome Dr. Sue the Bug Lady and her traveling zoo of interesting arthropods and insects.  Best of all, this fun, family event is free!

Mardi Gras au Saint Pierre’s!

 

 

Laissez les bon temps rouler!  Join us for an exciting Mardi Gras Masquerade Dinner Dance on Tuesday, March 8th from 6:30 p.m. -9:30 p.m.  Tuesday, March 8th is Fat Tuesday, the day before Lent and a last excuse to party . . . and party we will!  Bring  the whole family, your neighbors and your friends to St. Peter’s Mardi Gras Masquerade Dinner Dance.  You will enjoy traditional food and drink, decadent desserts, live music, dancing, party favors, raffles, games and prizes…especially for those in crowd pleasing costumes.

So come as you are and let us decorate you, wear a costume or wear traditional purple, green and/or gold and don’t forget your dancing shoes. 

 6:30 p.m.– 9:00 p.m.  Childcare provided.

Tickets will be on sale in the parish hall or at the door. 

$15.00 adults ($12.50 pre-event),

$5.00 (children 5+, under 5 free).

Installation of New Rector-Sunday, March 20th at 4:00 p.m.
